Yeah, but they put a song that came out 14 years ago as number two.

A really bad song, I might add.

oh pshh... nirvana started the philadelphia grunge phenomenon and while I personally feel smells like teen spirit is highly overrated next to heart-shaped box, u still can't show them disrespect... in many ways, I almost think without some of the influence of nirvana, then muse would not even exist... they even cite nirvana as an influence!!!

Ummm... this may be the wrong thing to post in this community, and I'm not saying Muse shouldn't be in there, because they are blatantly far superior to some of the crap that list contains.. but Hysteria? Best song ever?

Really?

It just seems ever so slightly random to me, especially as I wouldn't even call it Muse's best single (although that's a personal opinion).

But definitely yay for them getting three songs in! That's very very cool.

I agree. Honestly I think that list is a lot of bollocks - not because Muse are top, but some of the stuff is just pure shite...

Better than Channel 4's Greatest 100 Albums though... the thought still makes me shudder...

I agree, Hysteria isn't even their best single IMO.

What exactly is this list? How do they compile it? It does seem very very random.

That's all opinion, and while it's as valid as anybody else's opinion, I happen to think you're talking shite.
